About the Producer

DOMINO FILM is a Romanian production company, based in Bucharest. Domino Film produced most of the movies made by Nae Caranfil: "Asphalt Tango" (1995), "Filantropica" (2002) and the latest Romanian proposal for the Oscars "The Rest Is Silence" (winner of 9 Romanian Film Industry prizes, GOPO 2009, including for Best Producer). With Caranfil's last production, Domino Film succeeded to cover the biggest film budget from the latest history of Romanian cinema, of over 2,2 millions euro.
Domino Film's recent filmography includes international coproductions, such as "A La Petite Semaine" (directed by Sam Karmann), "A Reszleg" (produced together with Hunnia Filmstudio), and the 2008 Venice Film Festival awarded "Pa-Ra-Da" (co-production with Panorama Film).
Domino Film also produced or co-produced TV movies and TV series for national and international audience, such as history docudramas for National Geographic, TV movies for Italian channels ("Senso di Colpa", "Torniamo a Casa", "Rivoglio I Miei Figli") and domestic stations ("Tache").
Cristian Comeaga, Manager of Domino Film, is the Director of Photography for most of Nae Caranfil's movies ("E Pericoloso Sporgersi", "Asphalt Tango", "Dolce Far Niente").
